My Journey to Becoming an Author

Your story matters. Your healing is sacred. And both deserve to be told.

I never set out to become an author. What I set out to do was to make sense of love. To unravel the knots, the heartbreaks, the dizzy highs and the devastating lows that so many of us walk through without ever being handed a map.

For years, I asked myself the same questions countless others do in the quiet of the night: Why does love feel so complicated? Why do we stay when we should leave? Why do we settle when we know we deserve more?

The answers weren’t found in quick fixes or glossy advice columns. They came in whispers—through my own lived experiences, through heartbreak, healing, and the raw courage it takes to look at yourself in the mirror and say: I deserve better. I deserve love that’s real.

Writing became my way of tracing the invisible lines between pain and wisdom, heartbreak and healing. Each page I wrote wasn’t just words—it was a conversation with every woman who had ever felt unseen, every man who had ever wondered why love kept slipping through his fingers, every soul that longed to understand what it really takes for love to work.

But I knew it wasn’t enough to simply write about love—I wanted to help people live it differently. That’s why I created my 12-week 1:1 coaching programme, Becoming the Love You Seek. It’s a deeply personal journey where I guide clients through the inner work of releasing old wounds, dismantling limiting beliefs, and finally opening themselves to the kind of love they’ve always longed for. It’s not about chasing love outside of you, but becoming so rooted in your own worth that the right love naturally finds its way in.

I write because love is not just a feeling—it’s a language, a responsibility, a mirror, a teacher. And too often, we enter it unprepared, blind to the lessons it holds. My books and my course are my way of saying: Here’s what I’ve learned. Here’s what no one told us. Here’s the truth, stripped of fantasy, yet rich with hope.

Becoming an author isn’t about titles or pages bound together. For me, it’s about holding up a light in the messy corridors of love and saying, You’re not alone. You can do this differently. You can choose love that heals rather than hurts.
